CINNAMON powder
Cinnamon powder is a spice made from the dried bark of cinnamon trees. The bark is stripped, dried, and ground into a fine powder, which is then used in cooking and baking as a flavouring agent. Cinnamon powder is commonly used in sweet dishes like baked goods, desserts, and breakfast dishes like oatmeal and pancakes. It can also be used in savoury dishes like curries, stews, and marinades.
Cinnamon powder is known for its warm, sweet, and slightly spicy flavour and aroma. It also has many health benefits, including anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, as well as potential benefits for blood sugar control and heart health. However, cinnamon powder should be used in moderation as excessive consumption can lead to health problems, particularly in people with liver disease or sensitivity to coumarin, a naturally occurring substance in cinnamon.
